The Yelgun Garden Studio located in Lenah Valley, Hobart, Tasmania is in the process of transitioning from a detailed brief that addresses connection to the vegetable garden, Tasmanian whiskey, records, rest & relaxation .... to mixed media architectural plans and concept material that communicate the overall vision of the project to the client. This piece of evolving Tasmanian Architecture by Emerging Architect SAXON HALL will reuse an existing concrete plinth located in the backyard of the property as a base for the studio as a more carbon-efficient alternative to demolition. Enclosed by sustainably sourced Tasmanian timber cladding the studio has visual connections to parts of the backyard through large glazing and ventilation shutters….more to come
